i was wondering where everyone gets their microfiber at. my first towels i bought at pep boys and i am not really impressed. i was thinking about getting the pack from specialty motoring co., but i wasn`t shure of the quality. Name off any other favorites you have and why.

Adam`s MF towels are pretty nice. So are the ones I have gotten from PAC. Also, I have heard nothing but good things about PakShak MF. These are just a couple from the many sources available.

I am still a noob but I have gotten my MF (small collection) from autogeek. They carry Cobra microfiber towels which are either 80/20 (Detailing Cloths)blend or 70/30(Miracle Towel) blend both with over 200,000 strands per sq. inch. I have found they work pretty well removing wax and quick wipe down on the interior....love the static property of MF :jump They are a bit expensive, 3 for $18, but still worth giving them a shot. If you do some searching you can find good deals on a dozen 70/30 blend, 200,000 strand MF towels for under $20.

Cheers

I have Adam`s, Cobra, Viking, 4*, exceldetail, Meguiars, Pakshak and others. They all make excellent MFs. The Viking Drying Towel (Blue 16x24) is my favorite for drying. Another benefit is that you can find it at Autozone.

My overall favorites are the PakShak ones. The Ultrafines and the Ultra Plush Pluses are some of the best you can find.

You won`t be disappointed by Poorboy`s Mega-Plush MF`s ($4.95 ea), AutoGeek`s Miracle Towel, or CMA`s Magic Towel.

Winner`s Circle green MF`s (not too plush & $1.85 ea) are great for doing windows, doorjambs, and other tasks where you don`t mind getting a towel pretty grungy.

I tried to find Winners Circle products but had no luck. Can someone point me to a website? Also, what is the consensus on Excel Detail microfibers?

I might get the "starter pack" from Poorboys. I`ll use the "good" MF for the paint, and the cheap stuff from Wal-Mart on interior/and dirty spots.
