There are too many variables to give you an answer. It`s all dependent on the size of the vehicle, the amount of swirling, any scratches or problem areas, etc.

You might be better off getting a couple of tubes of ScratchX just in case... if you run out in the middle of hand polishing, you might end up doing this...:hairpull :wall

Like DaGonz said, it is hard to say. I would think your arms might wear out out before the ScratchX is empty, especially if you`re trying to correct very many paint defects. Here is a good thread on using ScratchX that you might want to read:

How to remove a defect by hand with ScratchX - Car Care Forums: Meguiar`s Online (http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1516)

Also, the Lake Country Manufacturing Pad & Handle Kit (http://store.danase.com/lacomahapadk.html) can make working by hand a lot, well at least a little, easier.

Anyway, I`d also have a second tube on hand just in case..... good luck!

ryan2002ls- Welcome to Autopia!

As you can probably tell from the preceding responses, Scratch-X, while OK stuff for isolated repairs of small areas, is a *really* hard way to polish an entire car. I`ll come right out and say that IMO it`s not a good idea. I`m certain that you`d be a lot happier if you just ordered a can of 1Z Paint Polish (or their MetallicPolishWax) from Aloha & Welcome to Our Oasis for All Your Auto Detailing Supplies & Accessories (http://www.pakshak.com/index.html) and used that instead. 1z polishes are about the only thing that`s remotely user-friendly enough to do a whole car by hand while being effective enough to give good results.

Sorry to give "buy another product"-type advice, I always kinda  about those kind of responses, but IMO when polishing by hand you need to use the right stuff or it`ll just be an exercise in frustration.
