I find it refreshing being able to purchase high quality Lake Country pads for only 5 bucks a pop. Someone please give me a reason (for PC users) why a $18 Edge pad, or $12 Sonus/Propel pad can touch a LC low pro 5.5" pad for 5 bucks.

And while I`m on a roll.

CCS 4 inch Foam Pads Bundle Plus 2 Free Pads! (http://www.autogeek.net/ccs-4in-pad-bundle.html) Beat that price for 6 4" quality pads.

It is all preference. You have to remember with the Edge pads you are getting two pads in one and if you hate velcro backing plates you don`t have to deal with them on the Edge Pads.

If so, I`d like to know, but wouldn`t you think the largest supplier of pads would be trustworthy? Not to mention no one has problems with the LC 6.5 pads, or 4 pads, so how would the 5.5 be the kiss of death?

When you purchase them by the gazillions, you can afford to let them slip away for such a price. Little guys dont stand a chance with those kinds of offerings. I recommend a total boycott.

On the other hand, hows there customer service, and whoever it is that answers the phone, when was the last time they actually detailed a car? Or are they reading from a predefined crap shoot? Not bashing AG, just bringin up some points that may be of concern to those who purchase from them......Maybe the pressure from the smaller boutique sites instigates this sell off! :heelclick

I think that`s just the regular price on 5.5" pads. They cost the same when I ordered them about 2mo ago. And Danase now has the 5.25" CCS pads for even less than AG sells the 5.5" flat pads for.

Sure it`s a great price, but you have to buy 6 of them to get the price. Not everyone needs 6 of the exact same pad. Based on that you can`t really compare the price of a pad in a kit (of 6) to a single pad price of another brand. It`s apples and oranges.

Not to mention we sell our 7.5" pads in a 6 pack for less than their 5.5" pads.

Right, and a 7.5 is like a 5.5 how? This is for PC use. However, I do agree that your price on the 5.25" CCS pads are great! :heelclick Not to mention your prices on other things. All I was saying was one little deal at Autogeek, and everyone is up in a fuss. hehe

I`m happy with my $5 pads, and yes white pads, having 6 is never too many.

So far, I`ve made 4 orders at $100+ from Autogeek, and they have stellar customer service. Large or not, they have a friendly, helpful staff. Being bigger makes no difference. Read their site, and you`ll see what I mean. Shoot, they even have pics of all the people that work for them. And you can call them and talk to a live person in less than a minute. It`s not like we`re talking about Wal Mart here guys. This is still a little, family run shop in FL.

Cant really compare edge to any of the pads out there today. They are a totaly different design with more material being used and they are 2 sided. 1 pad=2.

I agree though, besides edge, pads are to expensive for what they are.
