I have an M5 with black leather...I baby the car, but I still use it, and so do kids and wife.

Leather looks a bit beat....scratched and starting to look dry. I`ve been using some Lexol, but was wondering if there is something I can do that`s better... Searched the site, but no consensus.

Leatherique twins during warm weather. Let sit for several hours.

(You`ll never get a consensus on this question ;) You may need to work with several products to determine which is providing the result you seek.)

You might want to try Pinnacle Leather Conditioner. I use it on the BMW`s I re-condition here at the dealer. First, clean the seats with a diluted mixture of mild dishwashing liquid and warm water. You can use a spray bottle or bucket. Also, use a boar`s hair brush to scrub the leather and a terry towel to wipe off the liquid. I also use compressed air to blow dry the seams of the seats and door panels.

Next, dampen a small kitchen sponge with water and apply a good amount of Pinnacle to the sponge. Using the sponge, apply/massage the conditioner on one portion of the seat (back, bottom, etc). Let it sit for a few minutes and buff off with a terry or microfiber towel. This doesn`t take too long and is not a glossy product. The reward is a supple leather finish that adds enough oils to give your seating long life.

Here`s a BMW 745 Li with the Pearl Leather interior that I recently finished:

Our shop is going to use Pinnacle on every BMW as part of the re-conditioning process.
