So just went to Costco and looks like I am going to have to go back. They have 5 sq. ft. chamois for $12. I though I will check if it is a good price. Looks like it is, since I am yet to find anything even close to that price. Back to Costco I go :grinno:

The natural oils of the chamois eventually dry out, and once they dry out, they won`t be able to absorb water as well as they used to. Recommended drying towels consist largely of microfiber waffleweave towels, which do not wear out, and offer excellent water absorption.

Yep, they also had a megapack of the MF towels for $10. I am still using the towels from the same pack I bought 2 years ago. Got my return on investment:D

Most people dragged chamois across their paint too, which forms that funky water vaccuum...which is pretty good in removing water but also really good at dragging any left over dirt across the paint.
