This durnago has been north of the border for the last month. I think the weather was sunny and 70°. :chuckle:

NOT!

Figure at least 5 weeks since the last time it was washed.

Chris already had it washed by the time I arrived.

After claying:

Not bad for sitting outside 24/7 and a few trips to Canada since I last applied some zaino in early Sept. The paint did not have much beading left, but still did look nice.

Process:

Clay

Wash

ZAIO w/ white LC pad PC6

1x Z5pro (no ZFX)

ZCS

Tires got Z-16 1x

Wheel wells got cleaned, but not treated.

Running board have never responded to anything (PB TR and others) so we have given up on them. When ever the durango is traded/sold we will remove them and try some black spray paint. :hairpull

Looks very good from here. Love those meaty tires, too!

I think my fiancee`s Saab would give those befores a run for their money.

Great work!

The hood shot 3rd from the bottom really showcases the paint.

Look great as usual Bryan. :bow

What temp was it when you applied CS? How long to dry?

I see you were driving the wife`s BMW. ;)

Thanks Sean! Yes those are the winter tires on the stock rims. The dodge 20s with the kumho STX tires do not work well north of the border. :scared:

I saw the pics of Liz`s Saab in the other thread, it was looking "nice" as well.

Thanks John! I guess the paint does not look bad at all for a `04 w/ over 80k miles.

Thanks Edwin!

I think temps where in the high 50s and the humidity was low in the 30-40% range. 15-20 mins for most of the CS to cure, up to 25 mins for a few spots.

Good eye, I had to pick up the wife and baby at the airport on my way back home. Just a little bit more room in her car then mine. :)

Looks great!

Tip on the running boards/rear bumper. The plastic is crap and the dealer should have replaced under warranty. Unfortunately it sounds like it is well past that point now.

What worked for me was cleaning the plastic with some sort of solvent (I used alcohol), sand lightly, tape everything off and spray with a can of bedliner you can pick up at any autoparts store.

I used duplicolor brand and it worked great. Just keep the coats light and they even themselves out. Looks better than factory IMHO.

great job!!! very solid and deep looking. I bet that will be amazing looking in the sun. I used CS the other day on the nose of a car that I had z5 on and I brought it outside and I was not sure what to make of it on a burgandy volvo cause it was cloudy. The next day when it was sunny me and my friends were in such shock on the added gloss and wetness. It really acts like a mirror. If it is cloudy out it will look cloudy, and when it is bright and sunny it will glow like the sun and make z5 look even deeper.
