Is anyone else experiencing hyperlinks being added to your posts and in other peoples` posts?? It seems like words are being chosen at random and being turned into a "search" link

It`s driving me nuts:confused:

Everything looks fine on my PC. Can you list some examples where you are seeing the problems?

Don, I`d be very surprised if two websites are having the same issue. Could something be wrong with your browser?

It was every message board I was on...I talked to the wife, (she went to Arizona for a funeral last Wednesday) apparently she does an Ad/Spyware check daily. The husband is always the last to know ;)

She had me run a scan from her name and I came up with over 430 `alerts` for Ad/Spyware. She told me how to get started, but said she would take over the clean out when she gets home tonight. It seems like I did something beause I don`t seem to be gettng the mystery links...popups on the other hand...

Once you have removed the spyware you should install spywareblaster (http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html). This will stop your PC from getting reinfected, just remember to keep it updated.

Cheers, Len.

If you have Windows XP, the Anti-Spyware program that Microsoft is beta testing is fantastic. Go to the Windows update page and search on Anti-Spyware.
