Hello guys,

I`ve just got my new car. Paint looks nice n shiny of course.

For the time being, once a week, i use a quick detailing spray after washes.

Should I wax ? Do I wait a few more months?

cheers! - xix

You should definitely put some protection on it, there`s no reason to wait....unless you plan on claying, etc.

Yeah, use a fine clay and then wax that puppy.

IF you are skeptical about using a wax on such a new car though, you can at least use Meg`s #7 for some protection.

I know you are new, but just do a search, you will find a TON of info on new car prep, maintenance, etc. :xyxthumbs

You should

Clay (clay magic at autozone works fine)

AIO (klasse AIO, autoglym SRP, JW: Prime...etc.)

Wax or seal (this is a matter of preference)...that should be all you need for now.

Take a look at Zaino or Jeffs Werkstatt, Zaino has a new Z-AIO and CS which cut down on the steps you used to need to get comparable shine/protection

There is no need to wait on a new car before waxing or sealing. Modern car finishes are baked on at the factory and do not need any time to cure. They are as cured as they`ll ever be the moment they roll out of the factory door. They should be protected immediately.
