I know it`s been a while since I posted anything, but then again, it`s been a while since I`ve done anything.:chuckle:

I had a great opportunity today to hang out with a good friend and do a quick detail. Thanks Bryan for all your help. As always it`s a pleasure to hang out and chat with you.

This was my first time to use some new Zaino products to this extent.

The car was already pretty clean. She has been sitting in the garage gathering more dust than miles over the past few months.`

We started with a QEW (Quick Easy Wash) wash using the two bucket method and some nice Excel Detail Microfiber towels. The car was dried with one waffle weave towel.

Next we used a microfiber applicator and worked in the Zaino All-in-one (ZAIO) by hand. It was a bit tough for me at first as I was putting too much product on. I found that if I misted the applicator with some Z6 that it seemed to spread and work a bit easier. The ZAIO seemed to remove some scuffs from the Lexan top and from the drivers side door. The ZAIO wiped off very easily and left a slick feeling to the surface.

Next we applied a thin coat of Zaino Z5 Pro sealant. Since we were doing one coat we did not add the ZFX accelerator.

Next we used the Zaino Clear Seal (ZCS). This is a very cool new product. We used a clean microfiber applicator. I misted the applicator once and then misted the panel on the car. I worked in the ZCS with little to no pressure on the pad. One spritz from the bottle covered half of the hood. Like other Zaino products, a little goes a long way. After working the ZCS in we let it sit and watched to product disappear. There is no need to buff the product off. The ZCS left the car feeling slick and looking wet and deep.

Lastly for the paint we topped it all off with Zaino Z8 which is a spray sealant. This left the surface feeling even slicker and looking deeper. Again, a little bit goes a long way.

Bryan did the finishing touches by adding some Z16 to the tires.

This took us about 3 hours and we where very much taking our time, hanging out and chatting as we went.

Process was…

QEW wash

ZAIO by hand

1x of Z5pro (no ZFX)

1x Clear Seal

Z8

1x Z-16 on tires

It was chilly out today so Bryan brought a heater into the garage and had it about 55°.

Thank you.

I don`t have a great eye like many do, but I could tell a difference after adding the ZCS to the Z5.

It looked to me that after applying the ZCS that the car had more depth and certainly had more shin. I am not sure if the color change was there like I have seen before, but that was on a Major cleaning on the same car.

I hope I was able to address your questions.

Perhaps Bryan will be along and be able to offer his more experienced input.

Thanks.
