Get the 7336.

The 7336 has a larger counterweight which makes for better balance.

TriumphGT6 is right, as are you. They are the same machine inside and outside, do the same work, everything is exactly the same except the counterweight. If you want the smaller counterweight of the 7424, you can buy one for about 4 bucks and swap it in, but most don`t.

So, get the cheaper one and use the 20 bucks you`ll save for a good backing plate or an extra pad or polish.

Does anybody ever want / need smaller counterweight if they allready have a bigger one? I have never heard of anybody going down nor do I know there would be a reason to.
