Sorry I have posted this in multiple places to increase my chance of getting help …
--------------------------------------------------------

Hi, all. I am new to this forum as well as to this business. Right now, I am looking for ranking information about car care product manufacturers or brands. Any one knows where I may find it?

I have heard Meguiar’s is a famous brand. Anyone can tell me other brands/makers compatible in quality and reputation? Who are the major players in US in car care products?

Thanks a lot for help.

Welcome to DC!

First of all, where are you from, the Burkina Faso?

Well, if by any chance you`re from the US (I`m not), Meguiar`s is supposed to be one top brand. 3M one of the greatest, and then, you have a zillion others. Mother`s, One grand, Poorboys, 4-Star, Pinnacle, Stoners, Eagle One, ...a zillion.

You also have Turtle Wax, Armor All and stuff like that.

There are a lot of good brands, but there are some products that seem to be used by almost all serious detailers. Fortunately, they are all available at Premium Auto Care. For waxes, P21S, Klasse and Platinum are among the best available at any price. Meguires makes great paint cleaners, swirl removers and glazes, as does 3M. You cannot go wrong with any of these products as long as you use them properly and for the purpose they were made. There are always people who prefer certain "exotic" products, but the staples are available right here. There is no evidence that ultra expensive products work any better than the ones I listed. In fact, they probably don`t work as well!
