Hello all newbie from the UK

Pictured below is my pride and joy a 1993 Vauxhall Calibra 2.0 8v Auto which i have owned for the last 9 years.

Have used mainly Autoglym products on the car plus a few other tyre + plastic dressings etc and have been pleased with the results plus the car always gets a good response from people when out and at shows which is very rewarding but after looking on here i still have a lot to learn cannot believe the results some of you are getting.

Will be changing the car this year so will have a chance to try out some new products especially the waxes.

Welcome to Autopia.:welcome

Used to have a calibra. Still miss it. Car looks good. Interior is very neat.

Remember that preperation is the key. Get a polisher (PC) and some good polish (Menzerna, Optimum) and you`ll be amazed of the improvements you can get.

That car is a `93? Has it ever been repainted or is that original because it still looks amazing for its age! It`s always nice to see something we never get to see here in the States.

Anyway welcome to the forum!

Thanks for the replies regarding my car.

The paint on the doors, wings, roof and pillars is all origonal.

4 years ago had a front end smash and needed new bumper and i decided to get a later model bonnet fitted without bonnet badge for a cleaner look and at the same time i had the rear bumper sprayed and tailgate lid sprayed as they were both suffering from laquer break up.

All that has been done since then are the wing mirrors to get rid of stone chips.

All the pics you see were taken last June 06

There are a few chips on the bonnet now as the car is used most weekends not just a show car so could do with a respray on bonnet for show season but as i am changing the car this year will not bother.
