I saw a new cheap rotary at Sears. I think it was a 4.5 amp or so-so it isn`t overly powerful. The feature that caught my eye was that the body was 2 pieces. This allows the handle to rotate 90 degrees for verticle panels. It would be a nice feature for the more expenive rotaries to adopt.

Most of the better ones have a handle that goes all around already. Like my Makita. You can you a straight handle, like the PC, or their roundish handle.

Try using the Rotary with out the handle. The last detail I did was with out the handle and I found I had much better control of the Rotary. It was also more comfortable and less fatiguing. If you havn`t tried it you should.

I have a special Hockey puck I fabbed up for a top mount. works great on verticle panels. This rotary rotates the tail section so your right hand is in a more natural position on top of the machine.

Yeah, better without a handle at all.
