i need a filler polish/glaze that DOES have lots of fillers in it...for those who only want to pay for two coats of polish, yet still expect killer wet results...even though 3-4 coats are ideal...something say on a Mercedes with hard clear, polish with 83/IP/OHC, then use a filler polish to hide the micromarring, but still polish away the haze

list them up

Four Star Professional 4-54 Sealant will hide a lot of swirls. It is what I use for my quick jobs and it leaves the paint looking super wet.

Sonus Swirlbuster? It has light abrasives meaning it can remove light marring/haze, but it also has durable acrylic fillers that won`t wash off like cheap oil fillers.

Why not just use HT EC via rotary with an orange pad, then follow up with 106FF with a polishing pad? Two steps that will correct 90% of the vehicles that you see.

If you still need a filler--"Product X" by Blue Coral is your product.

Prima Amigo hides marring pretty well, in my (limited) usage.

Also, I agree that 4* Pro sealant hides very well, for a sealant.

From my findings:

Meguiars #66 quick detailer

Meguiars #80 speed glaze

does the 4* hide better than M21 sealant?

megs 66 didnt do anything for me, even on a soft toyota paint

still working by PC, so rotary will come out once I get more comfortable....or maybe rotary with orange/white pad, then PC with white/blue pad, then sealant....hmmm

I`ve never used M12 but here are some low quality pics of an Escort I did using the 4-54 Sealant. This was done just prior to trading the car in and the only thing I did was wash, clay, and seal.

How long do these fillers tyically last? I want to detail my sisters car which is swirled up pretty bad and I was thinking of using something with some filling properties until I have time to polish it properly.

Filler in glazes and polishes usually last a couple of washes. The 4-54 is a weird product because the looks seem to be the very last thing to go. The slickness will fade but it will still look great for a good amount of time.

Meg`s 66 fills - sort of. It`ll hide very light rotary trails or spiderwebbing, but it`s not gonna turn a mess into a sheet of glass. I`ve used it extensively on aircraft (hard clears so you see more hiding than correction) and the amount of hiding is minimal - we just used it because it was fairly easy on and off, and gallons were cheap.

One Grand`s Omega hides very well, but its more of a glaze than a polish. I`d second epbcivicsi on the ProductX - my friend`s father buys and fixes auction cars, and thats what he uses.

i think that I will try out the HTEC with the PC and see how the results are going from EC/pc/orange to 80/op/FPII on a blue pad/pc...

if I need some more filling ability, then I`ll try out the productX, I think that Ryan, RAG, has used it and had good results for the quickies....

Ya, where can you buy Product X? I want to try some out.
