Is the correct order of aggressiveness from strong to weak?

- Menzerna Intensive Polish PO91L

- Menzerna Final Finish PO106FF

- Menzerna Final Finish PO85RD

- Menzerna Sealing Wax PO73

This whole time I thought P0166FF was the strongest they had!

According to the owner of Proper Auto Care in Florida who deals heavily in Menzerna products, 106FF is stronger than Intensive Polish. The reason being is that the abrasive particles in 106FF are smaller than IP but there are many more of them. The list should read: Power Gloss, 106FF, Intensive Polish, Final Polish 2, Finshing Touch Glaze, FMJ.

I am not sure I believe this. If it is true 106ff is an even better polish than I thought since it finishes off beautifully.

Regardless of what Proper says, 106FF does not have as much cut as Intensive Polish. I don`t think anyone who has used them would agree that 106FF has more cut than IP. In my experience the order is something like this:

Power Gloss

Intensive Polish

PO8RD

P106FF = FPII (106FF finishes better than FPII).

PO73

Picus, there`s less cut for sure with 85RD than 106FF.

I thought the problem with categorizing 106FF was that it spans several levels depending on pad and machine. Am I wrong?

It usually goes:

PowerGloss (I used to use this and it`s a real pain, likes to gum and sling)

IP (dusts, also a pain to use)

106FF (joy to use)

PO85RD (Absolute joy to use, best finishing polish I`ve used, minimal cut)

I`d stick with HTEC for heavy cutting and OHC for moderate cutting, 106FF for finishing.

PO106FF seems to have more cut on a modern clear coat then PO91L(Intensive polish) IMO.

- Menzerna Sealing Wax - PO73 - 0.0 5.0

This is the correct list.

If you don`t like PO91L because it dusts just go to PO85RD3.01, same abrasiveness but as easy to use as PO106FF :waxing:

It works better, not a question of having more cutting power. The abrasives are diferent, smaller but more quantity and from a diferent type. It works great with a fine polishing pad where others will only scratch more
