would megs 16 be a suitable replacement for p21s or trade secret? 16 costs a lot less, is is similar, better, or worse than the other two i mentioned?

Thanks,

Dan

dgoff07- Welcome to Autopia!

If you can get #16 I`d sure pick some up. I wasn`t all that impressed with Trade Secret or P21s (went through one jar of the former and only one application of the latter), but I`ve been a big fan of #16 for decades. IMO it looks a lot like P21S, lasts longer than most any wax except Collinite, and offers great beading that`s somewhat "self-cleaning" in the rain. Very good stuff, but that`s just IMO.

To be honest, I prefer the #16 to the P21S. The P21S I find leaves a look which is "sparkly" if I can describe it like that which many like, but I personally prefer a deeper warmer finish that the #16 delivers. The #16, for me at least, works out considerably cheaper oz/£ as well, and durability of the product is far better in my experience than P21S.

S100 is another option if you like P21S :secret ;) ...about $16 bucks at many bike shops.
