For those of you who do detailing for a living, I`m just wondering how many of you have a whole bunch of products designed for the same purpose (different finishing polishes, sealants, waxes etc.) and how many pretty much stick with one brand? What would you suggest for the detailer just starting out professionally? Perhaps you can also suggest some vendors to purchase in bulk from? Thanks for your help.

I`m starting to lean towards Meguiar`s for just about everything except for paste wax. Seems to be proven time and time again, plus it`s cost-efficient and comes in bulk.

I use presta, menzerna, fk1, zaino. I use to use meguiars all the time back in the day until I tried presta ultra cutting creme light and presta 1500 polish. The 1500 polish polishes out like glass with no oils, fillers at all. What you see is what you get! I buy it by the gallons. Smells great too! I one a lot of trophies on show cars with this polish.

Optimum and Four Star mostly, with Duragloss as a backup. I carry two totes of varying products with me on details, and dont ask me why! I keep thinking to myself if I get rid of them, I`ll need one of them one day. Im a little obsessive.

I think I even have like 4 different clays, but only use one brand. I need to get my **** together a little better.

Majority of my products are Meguiars. Great stuff.. great price. I have introduced a few other products to my lineup also. Menzerna (only 106FF), Pinnacle Clay, a few CG products, Optimum ONR.

Once my gallons of Megs #83 and #80 run low Im going to try Optimum compounds and polishes. Ill always keep #80 around though... I love #80.

FWIW I dont do this full time yet.
