Anyone have any experience or have an opinion of products offered from Lanes Professional or Detail King?

I have used Lanes Gold Premium Wax and it did produce outstanding results on a new white GMC Envoy. Just wanted to know where these products fall in the quality category of the many others available on the market. I am kinda of freakie and wax after every 4 or 5 washes when the weather permits.

I have consistently obtained great wetting and depth of color with Meguairs products, they don`t seem to last long. Mothers California Gold cleaner/wax is another favorite of mine. Surprising enough I have used there PreCleaner, Resealer Glaze, and topped with wax only to find out the clenaer/wax did just as good as job and lasted about the same. Problem in NE Ohio is the snow, and salt. I am looking a product reccommendation that will last and protect from these harsh elements for at least 3 months. The liquid calcium they use strips the wax off in no time flat.

I have been trolling this forum for sometime and see many products listed. Since you guys are the ultimate pros, is there really that much difference between carnuba waxes?

As a fellow northerner, I`m used to the winter abuse. Last winter I used AIO topped with SG x3 on my car, and Collinite insulator wax on my dad`s. Both held up pretty well, but I`d give the nod to the SG. If your roads are really vicious, you might want to try SG topped with Collinite.

As far as Lane`s and Detail King go, i`m not particularly familiar with their products.

I use a product called Final Polish, a polymer sealant that I bought from Car Polishes` Inc. I`m fairly certain that it`s the same product as Detailking`s STS 2000 sealant. I had it on the roof of my car for five and a half months (black car that sits outside 24/7) and it still beaded the entire time. Has a very nice look, easy to use and very durable. Detailking`s is also not as expensive.
