So what do you guys recommend as the best buffing bonnet for use with either sfx 6" pad or Megs 6.5" pads please?

I already have the sonus MF bonnet and although the Megs ultra bonnets are available in the UK the new version (yellow ones) arent available here yet.

not alot of people use the bonnets, if you apply a super thin coat of wax you will removal is really a breeze, id say spend the money on regular mf towels

Really? But wouldnt I get a better final finish by buffing with PC as opposed to by hand?

Actually, now I come to think of it, since I`m gonna use a paste wax and want to apply by PC, is it appropraite to use a bonnet for applying the wax by wiping the bonnet lighlty on the wax to load up the bonnet, then putting the bonnet onto the PC pad for application to the paint?:idea

I buff it off with a good MF towel and then sometimes go over again it with a MF bonnet on the PC. I think that the Autopia store sells them and will ship to the UK:

Here you go:

The Pakshak bonnets are great. I think Ranney might ship to the UK.

Too bad TOL doesn`t ship to the UK, I really like buffing off LSPs with those suede-style bonnets.

The older Meg`s ones work OK for me and IIRC DFTowel has some bonnets made from his natural-fiber MF material (dunno if he ships across the pond eithe). And yeah, I`m sure the ones from PakShak are up to his usual high standards.

I do find that after buffing with the bonnets it pays to do a quick once-over by hand; the bonnets get about 90-some% of the LSP off, but IMO they often leave a tiny bit too...not sure why but I suspect they get a little loaded up even when the LSP is applied nice and thin.
