A simple definition of a polymer, is a chain of repeating molecules,or structures. If the molecules are comprised of Acrylic compounds, then this would be described as being an Acrylic Polymer.
I am only aware of a small difference between the two,in the way that the Acrylic`s tend to cure faster on the surface, and the structure tends to be harder/more brittle, whilst still being flexible to some extent.
The Acrylic sealants were the first ` original` paint sealants, examples we all know well; Liquid Glass, Klasse,Autoglym etc.

Right on dude. Acrylic`s last longer but I`ve found polymers like blackfire, wolfgang give more shimmer and wetness.
I like acrylics first - JW followed by aquawax is my fav.
