Since it was such a nice day today (well, sunny anyway) I took a few free moments to wash the DD. After three months I`m pretty happy with the performance of the 845. I`m debating whether to add a new coat to ensure protection, or to leave it be to see how long it lasts.

It depends on what you want to do. If you want to test the durability, then go ahead and leave it. If you want to continue the protection, just put on another coat. How long has the Collinite been on the car?

Awesome beading. It was raining/snowing here today and I took out a co-worker for a ride and he was impressed that the "rain was beading off the car". I really think seeing that happen was the highlight of his day lol. Gotta love Collinite

I used IW for the first time today and I`m impressed...didn`t stain the trim, went on and off easy and feels pretty slick.

Good work there, nice beading and great reflections from the bonnet.

Yeah, that`s exactly what I meant. I think I`m going to leave it be just to see how long it lasts. I plan to do a little more polishing in the spring anyway if anything should happen.

Looks excellent, although I am not at all surprised. Just leave it be...it should last around 5 months or so, based on my experience.

Put a second coat on the driver`s side only and leave a note in your car so u remember. See what happens... see how long the driver`s side lasts compared to the passengers.

Very nice, how many layers of 845 you had in there?

I started with one coat of EX-P, waited 24 hours or so and added a layer of 845. I don`t remember if I waited another day, but I put on a second layer of 845.
