Seems like everyone has 6.5" pads or 7" pads.

I think 5" or 5.5" would be best for the PC if i could just find them.

Autogeek makes these a little hard to find on their site, but they have 5.5" White 5.5 inch Low Profile Polishing Pads (http://www.autogeek.net/wh55inlowprp.html) , Orange Low Profile 5.5 Inch Pad 6 Pack (http://www.autogeek.net/orlowpr55inp.html) The Edge 2000 pads are 6"

I use the 5.5" low-profile pads from Autogeek and they are wonderful pads--if you do correction via PC they are a must have IMO.

I made a post about them a few weeks ago........

My 5.5" are on the way. I have heard great things about them. I got the combo 2 white and 2 orange. Maybe a little safer than 4 inch when doing light correction imo.

Cool, exactly what im lookin for.

Is there 5.5" finishing pads?

Edit: the orange 5.5" pads only come in a 6 pack? I dont need quite that many. 3 would be more than enough.

How did you do that?

Looks like the only way to buy the orange is to buy the 6 pack.

I dont see any *combo`s* or kits other than the orange 6 pack.

The individual orange pads are at the bottom of the orange pad page. The combo is here: 5.5 inch Dual Action Pad Combo (http://www.autogeek.net/55induacpadc.html)

I am a very happy guy to see a 5.5 white pad. The orange ones work really great for me. If they only made a yellow pad that size, I`d really be happy. The flat design is great.

SM Arnold (http://www.smarnold.com/) makes some nice 6 inch pads also. I have the green light-cut and found it worked better than the LC 7.5in polish or cutting pads on my last detail. I also bought the 5.5 LC orange & white pad kit from Autogeek, the SMA`s are about 1/4 inch thicker but both should work fine.

SMA Speedy Foam Pads

Yellow - Cut

Green - Light Cut

Blue - Polish

Black - Finish

White - Fine Finish

What is the advantage of the 5.5" pads?

Wont bog down the PC as easily as 6.5"-7.5" pads.

I refuse to use any pad bigger than 6" anymore :lol
