I`m starting to like the 1000 better than the PW . I was playing around on a hood of a black truck today . I did sections w/PW and sections w/1000 and the 1000 looks deeper and wetter to me .

The clarity is also alot nicer , probably due to lack of the carnuba that the PW has . I know the 1000 is synthetic wax but man it is clear , deep and wet . Durability from prev. experience is excellent IMO.

Anyone else notice this ?

Hmm...You`ve peaked my interest :) I`m just starting to get my hands on paste waxes. I really like the deep/wet look. If you have any pictures please share :) Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

--Wow! Just checked the price, what a steal if it performs like you say! --

I have 4 layers of 1000p on my white Subaru for the winter time, but used Pink Wax x3 on my brothers red Eclipse. I thought the more clear look suited the white best, but the Pink wax darkened up the red a bit and made it look really sharp. In my (admittedly very) humble opinion, everyone should own a tin of each. Personally I enjoy the paste wax application much more so than that of a liquid wax or sealant, so these two obviously appeal to me.

Hmmm.. think i`m gonna pick up a can of this stuff to go along with the Duragloss / Zaino i just bought :wow: And man, i wanna replenish some Werkstatt too..this is getting dangerous.

Anyway, i hope it is the deep wet and thick shine that i read about this wax here. I already have the Pink Wax, 425 and FX-100.

I`m thinking 1000p will better suit my Titanium Silver better.

klnyc, so your a Cisco Router Guru huh :2thumbs: ....Me Too!! lol:LOLOL

1000p over FMJ....alot of gloss, alot of shine... but to get that depth and glow, u need a carnuba topper....

if you get it. wipe it off just before it dries !!! Same shine, less plowing thru.. in the summer it dries very hard, until you have a few coats built up.

I have used 1000p plenty of times and it is awesome. Probably the best wax I have used!

Gloss is amazing and the durability is amazing.

Just after Christmas, I tried experimenting with various combinations of PW and 1000P over KSG or 2180. After letting the car sit on my `96 silver Altima for a few days, I like the 2180x2/1000P/PW combo the best for gloss and wetness. The reflections off the KSGx2/PWx2 combo is a bit muted compared to the shiny KSGx2/1000Px2 combo.

To me, the differences were subtle, and I needed to go back and forth between sections to make any type of judgment.

My wife couldn`t really tell the difference, but did say that the overall look was like wet nail polish.
