I kinda like the looks of the orange CCS pad. Per this thread (http://autopia.org/forum/detailing-product-discussion/82381-if-u-could-design-pad.html), I indicated that I though the orange foam needed to be coupled with a softer foam underneath for rotary use...and I`ve had good luck with the orange LCVC pads to some extent, I just didn`t like the cupped "variable contact" design. Other than the little holes/nipple gimmic, it looks like a good pad design.

Any experienced rotary guys tried this pad yet? I`m gonna order one or two tomorrow.

I`ve found the CCS pads to be excellent via rotary usage. They have a little more bite than the Hi-Gloss LC pads, so in certain cases less passes will be needed to improve or remove a defect. I haven`t had much time to use them via a DA machine, but I would expect similar results.

Yeah, a little more bite makes sense, since the LCVC pads had much less contact area due to the concave nature (which is why I shave mine down, but then the foam was a little thin). Thanks.

And I`m sure they are superior (to the LCVC pads) via DA, as the limited contact area of the LCVC pads via DA really sucked. So for DA, I`m 100% confidnent these are an improvement...just not sure how they`ll handle rotary action.
