Pretty angry right now...

So Im doing a friend a favor by letting him stay at my house for a few weeks until he can find a place to rent/buy. I have a 3 car garage and he has a nice supercharged good looking Camaro like mine, so I gave him the middle spot in the garage.



Well.. he flew out to AZ last thursday to visit a friend of his. He said he`d leave a key to the car incase I had to move it, he beat me to it because I was going to ask. Heh.... I went to move his car today because I have a Expedition to do (at my house) and guess what I cant find? His keys. Cant get him to answer his phone... text or call. Id detail outside but it looks like its going to rain and its too cold to be outside the garage while working.



Im not sure how to handle this... I have the Expedition out in my driveway right now. I thought about moving cars before I left to pu the Expedition but last minute decided to wait.



Couple hundred bucks lost... my time wasted and cant reschedule next weekend (Christmas)... customer isnt going to be happy... because he dropped the ball.



What would you do?

Tell him to go to the nearest Kinkos and Federal Express those keys to you pronto..

Get AAA to unlock it, pop the sucker in neutral and push it out ;).

Jack it up and put it up on some dolly`s if you have to, and just roll it out.

My garage is one of those 2 car doors with a single on one side. The Expedition wont fit in the single door... and since his Camaro is in the center with mine on the other side.... there is deffinately zero room on that side. If his car was on either side of the garage I could make this work... but that isnt the case.



He`ll be back late tomorrow night... so FedExing the keys wont work. Had I realized this Thursday night when he left that would have worked. Damn!



Firegate... the car is unlocked but its an auto. If he had a 6spd Id push it out.

Just jack up the rear and push the thing out. Should not be that hard.

Pushing it out onto the driveway would be not that great of an idea.... my driveway is sloped.



TrueDetailer.... thanks for the idea! Its going to work. My neighbor had wheel dollies... I knew he had them but didnt think of it.



Just got them.. going to go move the car. My customer said that since Im getting a late start that she`d reschedule for tomorrow.. which I may just do at this point.

I don`t know how the autos are on Fbodies but on my dads car there is a spot to unlock the trans and make the car shift into neutral.
