I am planning to buy a foam gun, but the only one I have found here in Finland is The Birchmeier Vario-Matic 1P foam gun, and I was wondering how does it compare for example a Gillmour foam gun. You can find informormation about it from here (http://www.birchmeier.com/English/Industry/Detailansicht/tabid/191/Default.aspx?id=42).

On the surface view they seem identical.

Have you seen the Birchmeier on display at a store? I might be tempted to get that if it`s easily available here. The price is another thing, though...

Btw. there`s also a cheapo spray-jet in Biltema, that has a built-in soap dispenser. It isn`t really a foam gun, so the foam output is likely to be poor.

Looks pretty identical, what´s the price? Birchemeier makes very nice products I have a Birchemeier pump sprayer for my alcalie degreser. But they are not cheap.

I haven`t asked the price yet, but if it`s reasonable, I might buy one. Tsniemi, several hardware stores sell Birchmeier products, so ordering isn`t a problem if they don`t have any in stock.

Could you please check out the price? I have started searching for a birchemeier reseller here in Sweden.

Ok, I checked the price, and it`s a bit expensive, over 160euros (about 210$) , and I don`t know if it`s worth it. I think I`ll buy foam gun to my karcher pressure washer, unless you guys turn my head ;)

I know Birchmeier is expensive, but that is silly. Buy a gilmore foam gun from danase.com instead.

Think that the foam gun from kärcher is expensive as well, around 80-90€?

That looks like it is made by Gilmour, but it is the FoamasterII (http://www.gilmour.com/Cleaning_Maintenance/Washguns/foamasterII.asp) that uses a knob for adjusting the foam ratio. Most of the guns we use have the sliding brass rod to adjust the ratio.

Wouldn`t it be cheaper to buy one from Danase (http://www.danase.com/gifofogun.html)? I would think even with shipping costs it would be a lot less than $210!

LOL @ the prices of everything in Finland. The Gilmour is ~50GBP (98$ / 74eur) in the UK, so that might be an option also (no added customs/taxes inside the EU).

D*mn it is so expensive. I really wanted to buy it, and would have been ready to pay ~100eur, because Gilmour would cost at least 80-90eur (transport etc.). Well, I have to negotiate with the salesman to get the price down :D

they`re the same thing and made by gilmour as well... http://online.waxie.com/Attachments/attachments/images/large/890700.jpg http://www.safetyplus.net/56SG13291.jpg
