The most abrasive I products I have are: SSR 3, DACP, and Meg. Fine Cut cleaner. I`m using Meg. red cutting pad with a makita rotary.
Using a rotary with speed set to 3.5. I still am not able to remove medium to deep scratches NOT through the paint. Some are through the clear coat.
I know I can not remove some without probably wet sanding, but what product do you use to get rid of these scratches? Mainly the meduim scratches because I know the deep ones will take sanding.
Do you think Meg. meduim cut or heavy cut would work? What other products might you suggest?
Just out of curiosity has anyone ever used Meg #84 and #85.
I still "learning" my rotary on a hood. Being new could be some of the issues with not being able to remove the scratches.
Willing to try about anything just to see what happens.
Any suggestions would help me move to this next step.
