or those of you still having doubts....

10 days ago, we received 15 inches of snow. In the Northwest, we don`t play with salt. We give the snow a few days and then throw a bunch of dirt and gravel on it.

Exhibit A: My car playing in the snow

Exhibit B: More fun

I`ve had the last four days off and have been itching to get her clean after waking up on the first day, but tons of snow and dirt on the ground meant otherwise. Fast forward to day four...still dirt on the ground but I can`t wait five more days to get her clean.

Exhibit C: Dirty dirty dirty car, bad car (top half already cleaned.)

Exhibit D: Lit from the side with 1000w craftsman light, clean car, good car

Method:

Prerinse with ONR in a pesticide sprayer, let dwell while I prepare buckets.

Two bucket....one wash, one rinse. Used two sheepskin Eurow Mitts. The rinse bucket had a capful of ONR in it for good measure. One sheepskin cleaned the top half and front of the car, the other the bottom half.

p.s. this car was poli-sealed on 11-17 (its now 12-05)

Any marring from the wash?

How is the Poli-Seal holding up?

I am just unsure about using ONR on paint(I use mine on doorjambs), just seems to go against everything I`ve learned from this site.

The only way you will get any marring if you don`t use it correctly. Just make sure you use a sheepskin, chenille, or microfiber to wash with. I was really leary about it when I first heard about it. Once I tried it out, it made me a believer. I have even used it on a ton of black vehicles with no marring. Like I said, it is mainly about your procedure.

The Poli Seal is also a great product. I have seen 12+ weeks durability with it so far. The Poli Seal is going to be huge just like the ONR. Great polish/sealant combo.

I know my pics don`t have the highest resolution, but you can see in the clean pic that the reflection is pretty clean...no swirls etc. If there`s marring, I can`t see it.

To be honest, couldn`t tell you how the Poli-Seal is holding up.. it was topped with AJT right after I applied it the first time. I finished this wash with AW :)

The car got new shoes and now needs mudflaps. This was earlier today. Don`t have pics of the after because it`s dark. This ONR wash took me only 25 minutes including drying with a waffle weave. No special attention to the trim or windows this time (aerospace 303, stoners etc) just a plain car bath.

Oooh dirty

After

Rinse bucket on the left, wash bucket on the right

And the WW, notice how clean it is...it touched every part of the car! (including one of the tires which is what the dirt in the bottom right is, oops)

Amazing. I guess I will be acquiring some from my bro Juztang.

I`m guessing there will be time saved by washing and drying in one step?
