As far as I know, I don`t think it does. PS is widely used, and I`m yet to hear anybody commenting on its effect on trim

The high content of oils in Souveran prevents it from staining trim. I`ve been using Souveran for a few years without any problems.

it does not stain, and in some cases those have reported they used it to remove older dried on wax from other brands.

I have put it on my door seals for years - make them black and seems to keep them soft also.

Yep, I`ve been using it on the rubber and plastic exterior trim of the XJS since the late `80s, works great.
