First off-this stuff stinks-ok, it doesn`t smell that good. They claim it doesn`t remove "durable polishes" and it hasn`t harmed my Zaino. It is effective at removing hard water deposits and airborn contaminents that sometimes evade mild carwashes. If you`ve got water issues it`s worth buying.

I would think that most carequests will not have it in stock?

I`ve found that the Water Spot Remover will work for fresh spots that have not set on the surface long. The product is based from vinegar, I believe, hence the smell. For tough spotting, it will do no good, and an abrasive polish is needed. For light, fresh spots though, it will work fine without compromising the LSP to a significant degree.

The local CQ here carries it.

Mike

vinegar is probably what is in it with lubricants as well. I use vinegar for removing heavy water spots. I mix water and soap with it a little as a lubricant. Works great!

I would think the soap would neutralize or at least reduce the vinegars acidity :nixweiss
