Looks good to me. Are you doing it by hand? Color-X is a one step product so you do NOT need to wax after it. Its ok to and probably will look better though.

Whats the condition of the paint? Swirls? Could use Megs #80 with a PC if it has some. Then use NXT followed by #26..

3 and 4 are a bit repetitive... they`re both going to clean the paint pretty well. NXT also has some cleaners... not that I don`t over-do some steps, but I don`t really mind spending all day on a simple wash and wax.

Order seems fine, but yes you could easily skip either step 3 or 4, and save yourself some time.

alright, thanks!

i will skip step three..

my paint is relativly clean with no, to a few lines(swirls) on hood...

i also have an electric buffer, that i know how to use..

do you think it would look better if i used that, because i know it is a LOT faster

and to answer that one question.. polish before wax

thanks guys

Correct, polish before wax, and correct using a buffer would give you better results assuming it is used properly.

You don`t have to wash again after you clay. Just move onto the polish after the clay.

thanks Juztang. before i polish do i have to dry after using the claybar lube? do i really need to buy claybar lube or can i just use the soapy car wash water in a bucket and squeez with sponge when claying? please explain. thank you.

I would dry before you move onto the polish. You can use a quick detailier for a clay lube or you can also use the soapy water for a lube. I usually use the Optimum No Rinse for my wash and clay lube. Just make sure you use plenty of lube when you are claying so you don`t marr the paint.
