Hello everyone -

My daily driver got hit in the door with a flying piece of metal that bounced off a dump truck on the side on me (Hit me in the front passenger door). My paint is clean and I take good care of the car (The car is silver in color). I normally use Rejex after I wash it, but with this scratch, I need a product that can fill. I took it to a body shop, and the guy told me that silver is the hardest color to match and that I should just try to continually buff it out. WIth this in mind, what product is a good filler? Is there a Silver type wax (I remember colored wax used to be sold, but not sure if it was any good). Anyway, appreciate any input.

Regards,

If it is that bad no filler in the world is going to cover it up. i used that color match wax a looong time ago and it lasted about one car wash. Might want to try www.touchup123.com .

If it`s really that bad I`d just get it spotted in by a good paintshop. I just had this done to a bad scratch on the MPV, turned out a lot better than anything I could`ve DIYed.
