I did this car this morning, The owner uses (used) RejeX on it almost a year ago. Now, the car beaded "pretty good" when I first sprayed it, and my opinion on RejeX escalated.......but, after my Megs Gold Class wash, it no longer beaded, I think I was tricked by dirt.

The owner is a friend of mine, and honestly, he takes great care of his car, I cringed when I heard that he hadn`t waxed it in a year, but that meant that it would look and feel that much better when I was done. The car has had a few spots repainted in it`s life, but I think whoever did it, did a great job.

Here`s my process, no before shots as I got started late, so I didn`t want to waste any more of my buddies time.....Jeremy, if your reading this, sorry for my late "arrival".

The sun was not cooperating, so I will see if he has time to get some sun pics tomorrow for me.

Megs GC wash

Mothers Clay bar with GC lube

If any avid Zaino users are reading this, I only put two coats of Z5pro on it, because I had read that the Z5 helps light/metallic cars more than Z2pro. Should I go ahead and throw a couple coats of Z2 on it anyway? I am meeting up with him in San Diego to go to a G35 meet and I`m going to be alone with the car for two days prior to the meet, and I was thinking of doing two coats of Z2pro, and do the Z8 wipedown before we leave for the meet to give it the extra gloss.

I hope there is a G35 of the same color there so I can get a pic of them next to eachother and see the Zaino difference!

Thanks in advance guys!

For my metalics I have put z5x2 and z2x1 and have had good results. z2 is supposedly more reflective, whereas z5 is more deep. z2 seems to make it a little too flaky to some people, but I have found it enhanced the z5 a pretty good deal.

What did you use to get the bugs off the front?

I scrubbed with a microfiber and Megs Gold class concentrated spray (two capfulls in a spray bottle, half filled with water), its pretty effective, plus I clayed it afterwards.

I really wanted it to pop the metallics, so hopefully the Z2 will help when I put on a couple coats of it this comming week.

I think it looks great the way it is. Why not start with using Z8 after each wash for a few weeks first? Probably will give as much pop as topping with Z2 with a lot less effort.

I gave my buddy a quarter bottle of Z8, taught him how to use it, but I think this comming thursday when I meet up with him I will put on a coat or two of Z2pro.

My new question is, will I have to activate the Z2 with ZFX if I just applied the ZFX`ed Z5 just one week before, or is that only if I put on more than one coat?

Thanks for the props guys, keep em` commin!

Let me know what you guys honestly think. The owner is not a member here, but he is watching.

Looks nice!

Do you have a PC? If so a ZPC polishing with an orange pad at 6 might have brought out more "bling" in the paint.

If you are doing just one coat of Z2pro then no ZFX needed. Myself I would do a wash, Z2pro, then Z8.

No PC:nixweiss

If I lay some Z8 over the Z2pro, will I have to activate the Z2 with ZFX?

OK, so I went to Anaheim with my buddy, for a G35 meet/cruise to San Diego (best weather in the world HANDS DOWN!!!), the day before we went, I put on two coats of Z2p for him, here is what we did, along with pics.........I drool every time I see clean Infiniti paints.

Here is a pic of the wash, this is one week of being under a cover, with 3 coats of Z5pro, along with Z8...
