I was just thinking... would a PD based waterless wash (DriWash n Guard, Wet Paint Glaze, etc.) work better than a water based product (S+W, DP, etc.) when the weather gets below freezing? I was kind of thinking it should. Has anyone tried and found one to be better than the other? If it does, I was thinking this might be a good product to use after a spray wash in the winter, if you can`t use a bucket. Just rinse off the bulk, then wipe off the film outside?

(Yes, I realize it`s not the bestest method, but sometimes ya gots ta do what ya gots ta do... :nono ;) )

Hmmm....mud/salt is water soluble...I`m not sure a PD-based wash would remove it. I remember scrubbing a coffee stain on a workbench with a solvent and it didn`t budge, but a wet cloth took it right off.
