I finally got around to trying my 4* medium cut compound on a blue S10 today. Here are the results after 1 pass of the MCC:

The product was very easy to use, and left very little hazing on the dark paint.

How was the dusting, working time, ease of use, etc.?

Yeah I was using the PC with a yellow Propel2 pad. Speed 1 to spread the product, speed 6 to work it in. Working time was about 3-4 minutes for half of the fender. Dusting was more than with SSR2.5, but an extra spritz of S&G on the pad seemed to help in that regard.

The 4th pic is disturbing..............Although the finish is quite impressive though.

a little OT... but were two people taking the picture at the same time on the fourth pic? That picture confuses me a bit

I`m stumped on this one...where do you see a second camera? I was taking the pic. The owner is standing next to me.

Paul,

The bulky outerwear, is it for protection from the cold? We hit a nippy 57 tonight.

lol sorry, I was just confused since the angle of the picture looks strange - the image doesn`t show as directly pointing into the lens. I just wasn`t sure how that works, since a picture goes straight into the lens. Sorry if I`m confusing you, but I`m still really confused myself :nixweiss

looks really great though!

Oh, I see what you mean now. I think it`s because I was shooting at an angle a bit less than 90* to the paint, so the reflection is actually showing me pointing a bit away from "myself". In addition to that, I think the paint is a bit curved at that point too. It shrunk the owner`s head to a golf ball.

Sludge - Yeah, we hit a whopping 42*F today, with 30mph+ winds. It was in the mid 60s yesterday :bawling:

I don`t think it will be straight on if he is taking the picture at an angle, or if the fender has the right curve to it would probably make it look that way as well.
