Any benefit to staying with a new one as opposed to saving a ton of money on a reconditioned one? I will be using it for personal/friends use. Don`t make my living with it. Thanks!!

No shame in a refurb at all. Go for it!

Actually I just looked on the PC website and the price differnece is only $20. No reason not to buy a new one then!! Sorry for the waste of a question guys!! :aww: Now all I need to do is figure out which pads I should get and I am all set!! I will do a search for polishing pads but does anyone have any suggestions?

I hear good things about Propel P2 and Lake Country. Lake Country is coming out with new "dimpled" ones. I haven`t tried either yet, I just got PC (well, G100) myself too.

Nice, G100 comes with lifetime warranty, how much did you have to pay?

It was an early birthday gift :) so price was right. Otherwise, I don`t think I would be paying them practically double for what is same product as PC plus lifetime warranty. I am a casual user.

Do you think its worth it for 149.99 assuming I could get the PC for less?

You can find new ones on ebay for $120 if you can wait. $10 is worth having new.
