Our 99 BMW 740il calypso red.

I have propel P2 green and blue. I have some LC VC pads, but white is the softest I have. This will be with a rotary.

This is for the wifes car that has some light marring. I was going to start with 106ff and a green P2 1500 on the rotary to see if that would remove the marring. If it won`t I will go 106ff and white LC VC, then I was thinking of following with PO85RD and green propel.

Here is what I am dealing with:

Roger that!

Looks like I will go EC/OP w/ White LC VC pad, then green P2 with the 106ff.

Has anyone ever used blue P2 with P085RD?

I will send Patrick a PM.

Doesn`t look that bad to me, you might be able to skip the first step with the EC / OP....

It has some slight swirling that is hard to see via photo. The EC/OP w/ the white gets them out real quick. Leaves a nice finish, but of course I still "have to" use at least 106ff. :think2

Finsihed up with the 106ff and the green P2 yesterday.

Decided to go with the Green P2 again with the P085RD today. I have done the horz surfaces so far, hard to see an improvment from the 106ff.

You shouldn`t see a difference as worked properly they finish out the same.

Now I know............the rest of the story. :chuckle:

Seems like the 085 has a nice long working time.

I loves me sum 85! RE5(imported) is pretty much the same in my experience.

Why would I use 085 over 106ff? If I used EC/OP first then would not 106ff be better for a final cleanup?

Thanks for your thoughts.

I`m not saying that you should use 85 after the 106 at all. I stated above that they finish off the same even though they start off different. The 85 has some nice work time and is an excellent finisher. I was just adding that as 85 becomes a bit harder to come by that RE5 seems to be the perfect replacement.:)
