Hello my dear friends,

This night I left my car right infront of the hose entrance (just because usually we have a serious trouble with the parking places down here). Perhaps, some of my neighbors didn`t like it. So, today in the morning I find my little italian birdy [Fiat Punto] with the biiiiiig, deeeeep, ugly scratch through the whole left side. It seems to be made with some key.

People, please help :bow :bow :bow

I really love my car. I`m not guilty that I can`t find any other place to park and because of this my situation is so annoying that I`m ready to cry.

If someone has an experience in deep scratches removing please guide me through the whole process step by step. I think if I`ll act immediately, I can solve this problem Rather quickly, but I don`t know how to do that. I would be 1000 times grateful to you for this.

Thanks to everyone who paid attention to this topic.

Thanks to everyone who will help me.

Can we get a pic of the scratch?

Yeah, sure. But as I don`t have a digicam I`ll better make it tomorrow on the sunlight. It`s 6:40 PM here, don`t think I`ll get quality enough pics.

Sounds good.

Can you catch your finger nail on it?

uaually deep scratches mean first use a compound then follow up with a polish then wax

Of course I can. As I don`t have a chance to get the pics of mine, I`m trying to find some similar scratches in the net.

Is it through the clear coat? Is it down to primer? Even if you can feel it with your finger nail, it might still be in the clear coat.

I just posted some wetsand scratch removal in my gallery. If you look close in person you can still see the deeper ones, but as they are rounded off they do not reflect as much light. They are all finished with OP and OCW so there isn`t much for fillers.
