This thing was in pretty rough shape when I got it. It had a "tar" that was stuck to the paint behind the wheels, I couldnt remove it all as I thought it would damage the paint. As you can see I made a LOT of progress with it. It wasnt perfect when I was done... this truck was beyond a total "fix" with a real good detail. It was a junk yard truck that was bought specifically to clean up and resell. I have a friend that has owned literally hundreds of cars.... he buys and sells them all the time. From time to time he`ll throw one my way... this one was...ehhh.. "fun"?.?.? However... it still looked great when it was done and my friend was happy. I detailed this one with my "For Sale Special".

Shows that you dont have to have really expensive stuff to produce good results. That cleaner wax on there looks great.

Not a junkyard truck anymore. Who the hell uses a tahoe for a junkyard truck?

Thanks!

It wasnt used as a junkyard truck, he bought it from a junkyard... it was a ceased vehicle that was well.. not loved by its owner.

Nice job

I see a lot of these big SUV`s, especially Suburbans and Tahoes, that are in terrible condition. Its almost like the owners just give up on keeping them clean :)

I agree about the Silverado SS wheels too, they really look good on it.

Very, very nice and clean job.

Megs detailer line is awesome.

What ratios for APC+ did you use?

I just found out the + is for degreasers........I`m all over it now!

Where did he pick this truck up? A government type auction or what?.. Pretty cool business for some extra cash

Justin.. I use 1:10, works just fine.

Xjm... Im not sure where he gets them from. This one was a auction from a junkyard full of ceased vehicles.

Just realized I had my dilution written wrong... yeah.. 10:1 although I did spray and then scrubbed a little. I was extremely impressed with how quick and easy they came clean... they were really nasty!
