Anyone Nickel Plate Their Rotors??

I have new Baer Eradispeed rotors which are zinc washed but I don`t care for the finished look. They actually have a few small rust areas on them and are yellow tinted from the top coat over the zinc.



I know a number of people have nickel plated there rotors but I have never seen pics of the finish, anyone have pics they could post???



Does anyone know if there is any problem to have zinc plated rotors replated with nickel? :tumblewee

If it`s a problem, the plate will just strip the zinc. Be aware that for maximum abrasion resistance nickel plating needs to be heat-treated to acheive a higher surface hardness.
