That last austin detailer thread made me realize there are more autopians in Austin than I realized. I was wondering if anyone local wants to buy, sell or trade products? I want to avoid shipping if possible.

I have some Meguiar`s products that I want to sell, also. :)
Here`s what I have:
NXT liquid wax, 60% full
Meguiar`s Premium Paint Cleaner, one unopened, other one 60% full
ScratchX, 40% full
ColorX, 80% full
any reasonable or not too unreasonable offer will be accepted.
Nice to see some more Austin detailers!!! If you cannot sell anything here, you can always try Craigslist?

Hey fellow Austinites, is there a good autoparts store in town that sells good detailing products and equipment? The only place I know of is The Pep Boys on Lamar, but it`s not great.

Not really...your better off ordering online. The only stuff I get locally are my 100% skeepskin washmitts, and sometimes my claybar.
Let me know what you are looking for. I have gallons of Meguiars polishes so I certainly could sell you some of it if that is what you are looking for.

Well I know online stores are better, but what`s the best shop in town for supplies? I`m thinking of checking out Autozone on Burnet, unless there`s a bigger and better one at a different location. Thoughts?

what exactly are you looking for? We get some of our stuff from CCP (Commercial Chemical Products). They are a PRO distributor PRO Car Beauty Online-Home (http://www.prowax.com) . They also carry an assortment of products, Lexol, neverdull, etc, but most of the small showroom consists of the pro automotive line. Here is the address:
