I found this on digg.com It`s a 5 minute video about a person who details only high-end cars (lamborghini`s, bugatti veyron, etc..) It shows you the process he uses to wash, clay, polish, and wax his customer`s cars. Is it worth it?
Can you guys critique his method of detailing? I`m curious whether it`s really that much different from a more "regular" autopian detail which would probably cost $500-600 max. Perhaps it`s mainly because of the types of products he uses which brings up the cost so much. :nixweiss
I was surprised that he didn`t use the 2 bucket method for the washing. He just used one bucket, one wash mitt, and he seemed to make pretty hard and wide swipes with the wash mitt. Wouldn`t this cause marring? Of course, he polishes it after so I guess it`s not that bad. I`m was just surprised that a detailer who charges so much uses one wash mitt and one bucket while autopians are using 2+ mitts and at least 2 buckets to wash :)
