SO I 86`s my Adams stuff and have now switched to pinnacle and Klasse. :spot

Anyone have any reviews or expierience with the follwoign pinnacle products:

Paintwork cleansing lotion (light polish,no abrasives, contains fillers)

Advanced swiril remover (medium polish, light cutting ability, no fillers, contains diminshing abrsives)

Advanced finishing polish (final polish, no fillers or abrasives

I also got the souveran paste wax, but why discuss a product that has been discussed a million times. Im trying to avoid starting dull and old news threads.

The ASR and AFP are eh...nothing great. Got them with the starter kit with my PC and can`t really see myself using them again. Dusts a bit, expensive and didn`t really notice any great cutting ability.

The Swirl Remover I found struggled a little to remove swilrs, even on softer paints by PC - but what it did do was leave a very nice wet looking finish. The AFP I really like, its an excellent finishing polish for only light marring, and a very nice wet looking finish again.

What I really would like to do is try these out on the rotary and see if that kicks in any greater swirl removal capability... In fact, thats exactly what I`m gonna do when I next get a spare moment.

The PCL has been reformulated and I`ve only used the older stuff. It *did* have mild abrasives, just that they were so mild that you couldn`t expect any real correction, at least not unless your paint was *very* soft. Decent cleaning, and very user-friendly. I always liked this product though I haven`t used it all that recently. As a very mild paint cleaner that leaves some mild fillers behind instead of some mild protection (like AIO leaves) it`s good stuff.

The only thing worth having out of that list is the PCL. It is a light cleanser/glaze that is easy to work with and works well on an already polished car that just needs freshening.

Crystal Mist is a must have for keeping Souveran alive between washes.

The XMT`s are better than the aforementioned swirl removers.

You should look at the Pinnacle XMT line. If you havent opened the swirl removers, I suggest a return.

My favorites are the XMT3, XMT1, and the XMT Carnuba Glaze.

XMT3 is so versatile, it can be heavy cut on a yellow pad, then an intermediate on an orange. Plus the XMT line is made just for the pc.

heres some results I got using the XMT line. Pics are in chronological order of XMT polishing:

Second Pass on the Yellow:

After the final on orange / XMT 1 anf Carnuba Glaze:

Nice. You should check out the other thread by Fast05stang about his XMT expierience. It`s all bad news. We did a black metallic pearl 300C with the ASR/PCL followed by AIO and SG - 90% of pain defects were gone, had to spot buff with a yelloe 4`` lc pad and asr to remove some bad cc scratches. Man paint is very finicky . . . .

on your xmt 1 app - did you ise a white or orange

what about the carnuba glaze - white or black pads?
