:getdown Newbie here, so I`m not yet "house broken", but I like what I see from this website. My question is, has anyone used a rock-chip repair product from a company named Langka, and if so is it the real deal? If not, are there other similar products that work better to make a rock-chip repair look better. Good karma to all those who help guide this lost soul toward detailing nirvana!

Hi ray,

You might want to check out this thread http://autopia.org/forum/showthread.php?t=72854&highlight=langka. It shows one person`s dissatisfaction with the product compared to the product mentioned in this thread.

Also, many references to Langka can be found via this link:

I used Langka on some chips on my black Honda. The major one on the hood was from a glancing blow from a rock on the highway that left a thin, but long, gouge. The rest were the small chips less than a couple millimeters across. If you are careful and methodical, you can probably get good results where the chips are filled in and even with the rest of your paint.

It`s been mentioned before and I experienced it also that the Langka Blob Eliminator liquid tends to lighten up the paint color. Since I have black, it was definitely noticeable.

make sure you prep the surface around the chip area, remove any raised areas or bumps. it works pretty good!
