I have all types of products, spent 100`s of dollars, use the rotory, PC, etc. But I always used the cheapest tire foam I could find. Never tried the premium stuff. I figured it was all the same. So after reading all the posts and seeing results on this forum, I decided to try out some good stuff. So, I broke down and bought a bottle of Poor Boys and wow! I`ll never use cheap stuff again!! (don`t look at the chrome trim around the wheel well, I just took off the running boards that where there for 19 years!!!

Bold N Bright (http://www.poorboysworld.com/bold-bright.htm) is also one of my favorite tire dressings. I`m trying out Z-16 (http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=Z-16&Category_Code=Zaino) too, but haven`t decided which one I like better yet.

I`ll agree that Bold n` Bright it an awesome product, and for me too, it was the first "premium" tire dressing I used. I thought it was a bit finiky at first, but then I got the hang of it and the tires turned out perfect nearly every time. While the shine dies down some what quickly, it keeps the tires black for a long time. I have recently switched over to Optimum Tire Shine(haven`t tried it out yet, as I still have about 20 oz. of BnB to use up), though, as it costs $20 for a gallon of Optimum and $40 for BnB....you do the math.

Huge fan of Z-16. I like putting on a coat of Aerospace 303 protectant first. Rubber really likes to soak that stuff up and then it is always black not shiney. Then the Z for the extra bit of whatever it is that Z does, its not exactly shiney, not exactly matte. The Z is def my favorite look.

Don`t forget the cheap tire shine will stain your driveway/garage floor.

I`m not quite sure what a "premium" tire dressing is, as some prominent members here, as well as myself, have plenty of success with plain `ol ArmorAll.

Although comparing notes on tire dressings is really difficult because different brands/models of tires seem to behave differently, not to mention different environments and driving habits, but in my limited experience with it, the Optimum Tire Dressing seems excellent and very Z16-ey, in that while not having a real wet look, it does seem to keep the tire black for a long time, and is very economical in the gallon.

 The expensive stuff won`t?

^^ Well, Meg`s High Endurance has a spot on their front label that says "will not stain driveways or garages" :chuckle:

LOL, well nothing will stain if you don`t spill it.

From what Ive seen so far, a good silicone based dressing does wonders on tires. After letting them soak the dressing for about 10 minutes, I wipe away the excess because the tires will kick it off. I prefer a new satin sheen than an unrealistic wet look.

It looks like the BnB was sprayed on and not wiped yet?

Not really! LOL

I wish my tires looked like that when or after I was doine wiping them done.

So far to date I have only used PB BnB, PB natural look and CG Extreme; and some cheap stuff from Costco. So far they all last the same for me, minus the Costco stuff. About 2 week max.

Just did my Lexus today before winter detail. I let the Bnb Sit on for like 5-minutes. This is what I got:

So the moral is get what is the least amount of $$$$. I wish they looked as good as yours!

Oh, nice late 1980`s Ford. Looks VERY nice.

Great looking shine, BnB is probably my 2nd favorite dressing after Hi-Temp Grape.
