04 Turbo cobra questions

well, I have a detail set up with a friend of mine, its a turbo terminator, automatic, built motor, etc...car was built by coastal dyno, anyways, have any of you ever dealt with vinyl stripes? they are pretty thick, almost 2 mm and I was wondering if it was safe to use my pc on them...here is a picture of the car

Are they just vinyl stickers on the paint? If so then I would advise against polishing them, as they are just stickers.

I would mask the edges of the stickers off with 3M painters tape as a precaution.

yea, they are just stickers, looks like I`ll have to mask them, you can wax them though right? I`m almost positive on that one....and yes, the orange does look better in person, its competition orange...its not nearly as dull as in the pictures
