APC or Tire, or rim cleaner?

Does everyone here use Wheel and/or Tire cleaner or an APC to get dirt off of those areas (before dressing tires, etc.)?



I picked up some Megs Tire Shine and it says it cleans also, but i`m sniffing BS, I know you need to start with a clean surface(tire).



Specific product suggestions welcome!

A good OTC product is Eagle 1 Wheel and Tire Cleaner:

When using this on tires I use a tire brush (http://www.eagleone.com/pages/products/product.asp?itemid=1003&cat=5005) to scrub lightly and then rinse.

If you mean Meg`s APC it works well ( 1:10) but you still need to go after the stubborn stains with a brush.The best IMHOis the eagle one :2thumbs: see link in the post above.Can`t seem to find it around anymore though, hope it`s still in production. The fumes will make your eyes water but damn it works.Good on bathroom tiles too.

This is what i use also,and megs APC if tires and wheels aren`t too bad, Megs WB 4:1` EO Wheel and tire cleaner is an exactly product..

i love EO1 all wheel & tire cleaner, i only wish it came in bigger bottles or gallons!

I just picked up a gallon of DG AWC - Haven`t used it yet, but as with all of there products, i`m sure its quality.
