Cut in Convertible Top

I did a search and didn`t find anything. I found a cut in my convertible top. Can uplostery shops repair those? I really don`t want to replace the entire top for one cut. I found a local shop in the local phone book that looks to deal with convertible tops and going to run my car by there. Do they make any convertible top repair kits that I could get to repair a cut myself?
