I understand that some sealants are a bit more reflective than color enriching....so...

on a black show car (import) would I be better off using something like megs 21 or PB EX, then topping with a lot of souveran, or just hitting it with souveran every couple of weeks....the car is also a DD

do you like the looks of ex or 21 ??

i would think going all souvern would be ok.

i like wg sealant on my camaro and i was thinking of applying it over CMW, but did not.

then i was thinking using OCW over it but after 3 applications of wg within 2 weeks,

i love the all wg look

If it was gonna be an indoor car show with lots of lighting, I`d go with a sealant.

why not just glaze it with some good old megs #7?

toyota guy said it is a daily driver,

so he would need some durabilty.

i have not tried the sealant / carnauba process, so i couldnt tell ya,

BUT, if you like the looks of the sealants, then the carnauba should in theory only make it look better

true, but if he is going to a show #7 can sit on top of his LSP and add amplify whatever he uses as s standard LSP. You can`t get more wet/reflective than a non drying oil.

I guess I am not sure if he is asking about what to use for a show, or what to use in between

I would use a base of PB EX, followed with Souveran. That should give you a durable base and the looks to go with it.

PB Natty`s Blue or Clearkote CMW would also be an acceptable base, as I`ve gotten around 3mos. of durability from each.

I would only use the Souveran for the wash right before I showed the car and upkeep it with Crystal Mist.

I would go with Werkstatt`s AJ and top it with Souveran or CMW.

I say hit it with everything! lol Thats what I do. Buff, glaze (or if sealant doesn`t bond to glaze, then use after sealant), seal, wax, spray wax, qd and mult. of each. lol Takes me about a week, but results are amazing! Paint you can swim in.

anything that`s a daily driver should have a sealant as a base

as mentioned, I would use a glaze, topped with souveran.... arrive at show, quick whizz round with pinnacle crystal mist, stand back and gloat!

proof it works, here`s my own car after just that:

Now whiz around and put a light coat of Meg`s #7 on top of the PS and sit back and gloat at it!!!! #7 won`t last long so enjoy!

you can top #7, but it will not get any long time durability- but will last longer than if not topped
