FIX Touch up paint?

is there a fix for bad touch up paint? you know, using one of those paint sticks that the dealer gives you to fill in the rock holes or bug chips? These spots were bad, but after the paint stick was applied, I think they look worse? was done over a year ago to the front of the car and the passenger mirror.

Wet sanding and polishing would probably be the only choice to fix those.
